Paradise Valley Community College Men's Soccer is primed for an exciting 2025 season under the direction of Head Coach Christian DeVries, entering his 8th season at the helm. With a solid core of returners and an ambitious preseason schedule, the Pumas are building momentum toward a competitive run in the Arizona Community College Athletic Conference (ACCAC).
"We're excited to start the new season," said Coach DeVries. "We have a great preseason schedule with five scrimmages and three non-conference matches before opening up ACCAC play. It's a great opportunity to test ourselves and get prepared."
The Pumas will begin preparations with five key preseason scrimmages against the local four-year colleges, offering valuable game-time experience and a chance to evaluate depth and chemistry. Following the scrimmages, PVCC will face three non-conference opponents in early action.
The Pumas will officially kick off ACCAC play on Saturday, September 6, when they'll face off against Mesa Community College.
Coach DeVries emphasized the importance of these early challenges in setting the tone for the season: "These matches will help us identify our strengths, address our weaknesses, and make sure we're battle-ready once the conference grind begins."
