PUMAS DOMINATE CHANDLER-GILBERT4-0 TO CLOSE SEASON; COACH DEVRIES EARNS 100TH CAREER WIN

The Men's Soccer team closed out their 2025 campaign in commanding fashion, defeating Chandler-Gilbert  4–0 in a rescheduled match originally set for October 11. Although the game was intended as a home finale, it was relocated to CGCC due to a scheduling conflict.

Sophomore forward Jack Trinh delivered a career-defining performance, netting a hat trick and leading the Pumas with goals in the 6th, 56th, and 57th minutes. His opening goal came from the penalty spot, and he followed it up with two more - both assisted by Jordon Culver, with Bryan Romero adding a helper on the second.

The Pumas capped the match with a late strike from Gavin Sanchez in the 85th minute, assisted by Marcus Olari, sealing the team's most dominant win of the season.

In goal, Jonathan Aguirre posted a flawless performance, recording seven saves and earning the clean sheet.

The win marked a milestone for Puma head coach Christian DeVries, who recorded his 100th career victory in college men's soccer.

"This was a special way to close the season," said DeVries. "Our players stepped up, executed the game plan with discipline, and played with a sense of maturity that reflects how far they've come. We've faced our share of adversity this year, especially with injuries, but this group never used that as an excuse. My mission has always been to develop men of high character, and over these final matches, their growth, both as athletes and as individuals, was on full display. To earn my 100th career win alongside this group of young men is something I will always cherish."

The Pumas end their season on a high note, showcasing the grit, development, and teamwork that define Puma Soccer.
