Paradise Valley Community College Women's Soccer will begin it's 2025 season with new head coach Ernie Santa Cruz leading the squad.  As the Pumas have prepared for the 2025 season, Santa Cruz has already brought a wealth of experience and a strong reputation for developing talent across the Arizona soccer landscape.

"I've followed the ACCAC for years as a club and high school coach, helping multiple players move on to compete in this region," said Santa Cruz. "To now be coaching in such a competitive conference is truly exciting."

Santa Cruz has inherited a program rich with potential and tradition. The 2025 schedule includes multiple non-conference tests before the Pumas begin their ACCAC campaign. With a mix of returning players and fresh faces, the new head coach is focused on building a competitive culture grounded in discipline, resilience, and team identity.

The Pumas' preseason and non-conference schedule serves as a springboard into a rigorous ACCAC season. Coach Santa Cruz emphasized that early matches will be critical in setting the tone, "This is a fresh chapter, and we're focused on competing the right way."
