WOMEN'S SOCCER EARNS 2024-25 UNITED SOCCER COACHES TEAM ACADEMIC AWARD

Women's Soccer has once again been recognized for its commitment to excellence in the classroom. The team has earned the prestigious United Soccer Coaches College Team Academic Award for the 2024-25 academic year.

This national honor is awarded annually to collegiate programs that demonstrate a collective dedication to academic success. To qualify, teams must maintain a minimum 3.0 cumulative GPA among all rostered student-athletes for the fall season.

"We are incredibly proud of our student-athletes and their dedication to academics," said Christian DeVries, Coordinator of Soccer at PVCC. "Our women's team continues to exemplify what it means to be a student-athlete. The work they put in off the field is just as impressive as what they accomplish during competition."

Notably, two student-athletes achieved a perfect 4.0 GPA throughout the academic year, underscoring the team's culture of academic excellence.

The Team Academic Award is presented by United Soccer Coaches, the largest soccer coaches organization in the United States, to programs across NCAA, NAIA, NJCAA, and NCCAA divisions that meet or exceed the required academic standards and maintain active membership in the College Services program.

Puma Women's Soccer remains a consistent model of success, and continues to raise the bar for excellence within the NJCAA Division II ranks.
